Why Don't You Answer My Question?

There could be a number of reasons for a question not being answered.

Sometimes people pose a question but do not provide enough information for any blurter to give a meaningful answer. For example, someone could ask, "What time is it right now?"

Well, that's an impossible one to answer. The time, not to mention the date, depends on where you are located in the world.  When New Yorkers are going to work, for example, people in London, England are getting ready to go for lunch.

Another reason a question may not get an instant response is because the question relates to a niche subject which requires a specialist or expert in that particular field to answer.

Misspelling of words, or their omission altogether, can also confuse matters or render the question too ambiguous.

Personally, I would rather not answer a question unless I felt confident the answer I could give was accurate and worthwhile to the person who asked the question. I'd rather not hazard a guess or give an opinion if that is all I could provide.

If I see a question which has not been answered which I know the answer too, I always try to answer it.  even if it has been answered, I still answer it if I have anything to add.so the reason I didnt answer your question could be:
1.I didnt see it.
2.I didnt know the answer.
3.It was already answered and I had nothing to add to the answer.
4.I really didnt have time and had to hurry away and attend to something.
5.the computers firewall wouldnt let me.

These are the only reasons I dont answer questions on Blurtit. Tell me your question and I might be able to answer it. Hope this helps!

If you don't give enough information for people to understand what it is that you are asking. When you leave a sentence unfinished. Someone asked "what is the answer"? With no information to go on, so since we did not know the question how could we answer it?

The reasons are many for a question not being answered. If  somebody is not able to answer your question this can be a reason.
