When And Where Was The Stand Up Ted Rogers Born?

Ted Rogers was born on the 30th of July 1935 in Kensington South London. He attended school in Lambeth and served in the RAF as well. He loved show business and stated off by physically walking into a Labour exchange and requesting such a job background.   

He is best remembered as an entertainer in the television game show 3-2-1. The show at one point had over 13 million viewers and his iconic hand gesture of counting down the name of the show on his fingers was looked forward to by millions. He was even courted by power and his company was much sought after by the then Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. At one point of time he even went bankrupt with bailiffs in 1992 to repossessing his home and car.
