Blink is a book about rapid cognition which tells us what things happen in a blink of an eye. When you walk into a new house or you meet some one for the first time, the first word or a sentence which comes in your mind is discussed in this book. Blink written by Gladwell is easy to read; it's about snap judgments of the last 2 seconds that occur in a person's mind before making a decision. Malcolm has written another book known as 'The Tipping Point' which also has lot of information about intuitions.
The book is an exercise in finding as to how people make good or not so good decisions about circumstances and choices in microseconds.The book is written in layman's language. The entire 250 pages make for brisk reading and there are many people who swear by the book.
