Marrying An Iranian Man What Should I Know?

Answer Question

3 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Don't. He will hear the call of home "Iran" at some stage in his life and will go leaving behind his family ( children) without a backward glance. That was my experience and that of many of my friends. Sorry.

I've just recently married my husband who has been here in Australia for 2 years, from Iran. He is the most caring and generous guy I have ever been with. I have lived with him for over a year now. Go for it! Iran is an interesting country and we hope to travel there one day. I've met lots of Persians and they are great yet interesting people.

      Good luck!!

I would agree with above. Recently married an iranian man in Australia. My husband is incredible and I can't say any aussie guy could even match him. He is amazing!

I was told the man's inviting me to his dinner party is his advance but acting like he doesn't care to show he is superior to me the family was delighted because everything went so well and he likes me. I was befuddled that his behavior would indicate to his family that I was the intended because I certainly did not get that from his behavior.
So what should I look for to know if the family that wants us together is honestly telling me the truth or if it is hope that something will develop?

Any body language things that he says? What am I to look for to know because he states very clearly other women are interested in him and he does not have time to date? The family insists he does that because I am always on the invite list for his family dinners and he has no one and it is his way of trying to make me interested.  HELP please
