How Are Black Holes Formed?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Black Hole is basically the name given to a region in space where the gravitational field is so powerful that nothing can escape its pull. So anything including electromagnetic radiation or visible light after having fallen past its event horizon will remain there forever.

Black Holes can form in any universe. They are basically a result of gravitational collapse of heavy objects such as stars or planets. This happens when the internal pressure of the object such as a star is insufficient to resist the object's own gravity. This happens when the star has too little fuel left to maintain its temperature. Also, research shows that there were a number of primordial black holes that were formed during the big bang.
