Where Is Belgium?

Belgium or "the cockpit of Europe" is a small country located in North Western Europe. It is bordered by France to the South and West, The Netherlands to the North and East and Germany and Luxemburg to the East. A small front of Belgium opens up North Westwards into the North Sea. Brussels is the Capital of Belgium. It is one of the most advanced nations of Western Europe.

Belgium was invaded during both the World Wars by Germany. The Second time it was part of the German plan to circumvent the Maginot line built by the French. Perhaps it was these bitter lessons that had Belgium amongst the foremost countries to enter the NATO alliance. The headquarters of which is located there.

Belgium is also famous for its arts and crafts the world over. Perhaps one of its most recognised exports has been the Tintin series of Comics.
