Cats are mammals and have kittens vaginally like other mammals. Same as people. Cats can have
one up to 7 or 8 kittens but normal litters seem to run 4 or 5. They nurse their mom for 5 or 6 weeks or longer and can start eating soften kitten food at usually around 4 weeks but still need moms milk
