What Does Middle Litterally Mean?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The word middle is defined as centre. It refers to an area that is approximately centrally within a larger region. Middle is also a synonym for the word in-between. In other words, when something is in the middle of a series, it is neither at the beginning of the series nor at the end of the series.

When something is located in the centre, it is equally distant from both the extremes. It is an intermediate part or a section of a whole object. It is the middle area of the torso or chest, particularly the portion in front, of a human being. It is the stage of development of a language or literature that comes in between the early stage of development and the later stage of development.

To middle (something) is a verb which means to put it in the middle. The time between the beginning of a temporal period and the end of a temporal period is referred to as the middle of the temporal period. It also refers to the time that falls between an earlier period of time and a later period of time.
