Most Hospitals in the U.K. have councilors who provide guidance and advice and could refer a doctor if necessary. Books on natural family planning are available and are probably stocked at most public libraries. Books on family planning include titles such as:
'The Art of Natural Family Planning' by J. F. Kippley and S. K. Kippley.
'The Ovulation Method of Natural Family Planning' by John Billingo
Guidance on natural family planning can also be sought from the charity:

Natural family planning is a method that advocates periodic abstinence. When a woman is less fertile during her menstrual cycle its open season and abstinence is advocated during periods when her menstrual cycle makes her more prone to get pregnant. The later period last roughly from 3 days after and 7 days before ovulation. It is supposedly a very risky method of contraception and failure rates are high as chances of human error are greatly increased.
