This is easy and fulfilling and can also provide a great hobby and produce original gifts for family and friends, once you discover how easy it is. Not to mention how cost effective it is.
First do some research on the herbs you want to use, and plant them in pots or in a small herb garden, the best are the following.
    Lavender,
    Rosemary,
    lemon verbena.
    origanum,
    peppermint,
    sage,
    thyme.
then invest in a big bag (5 kgs) of rough course sea salt, and some olive oil - about a litre.
Then make a work space, and set to work having fun.
You can tie up some herbs in a square of muslin with some string on to the  hot tap and that releases it into your bath, as an infusion under the stream of the hot water.
Even better is an exfoliator that makes  skin soft  and is relaxing.
Get some wide necked jars, then chop up some of the herb stalks lavender aids sleep, and relaxation.
    Lemon leaves invigorate,
Then when you have a pile of chopped leaves  and flowers, mix them in a bowl with 3 cups of the salt, and a cup of the oil. Store it in a jar with a lid on, and keep it on the bath. Use with a mitt as a great skin softener and smoother.
