It is entirely possible to see energy outside of the normal spectrum of visible light, and it is becoming more common.

I, personally can see almost all kinds of energy. Almost only to my knowledge, for all I really know I can see any type of energy.

To see energy and the small, fast beings made up of energy, I refocus my eyes, apply small amounts of pressure from the inside, and focus the energy in my brain towards my optic nerves, pituitary, and pineal.

What I end up with are EMFs, waves, particles, and clouds, of all different shades and forms.

And I can flip it on at will.

Go ahead, call me crazy, I agreed with 'crazy' until one of my friends touched an EM cloud and felt warmth, shortly before the could floated away.

And it isn't 'seeing sounds' either, sound can be absent or present for the sight to work. Many electrical devices that give off energy also produce sound; however, not everything that gives off energy makes sound, and I can see the energy of many things such as chairs, trees, people, machines (especially), pieces of paper, books, water, anything that has form, and many things that do not..

So, my answer is, yes, you can

        With energy
