Ben Turpin was an actor who was born 19^th September 1869 and died on 1^st July 1940. He was a comedian and he is famous for his roles in silent films. One of the most remembered things about him ais that he was cross eyed and he made full use of this in his comedy acting. His most remembered works are:
Vaudeville
Burlesque
Circuses
Ben Turpin retired when the era of talking pictures began as it required a new set of skills. After that he just starred in one movie and made guest appearances in a few others.
