    Are asking about genital herpes? If yes then it is an contagious STD caused by virus called herpes simplex. It can be either herpes simplex 1 or herpes simplex. Both can cause genital and as well as oral herpes. Genital herpes can be transmitted by sexual contact with infected partner. After transmission, infected person may or may not develop symptoms.

    If symptoms appear then these start as pain and itching on the genital area followed by red bumps which later become blisters. These bumps and blisters can bleed or ooze.

    There are no cure of herpes. Only symptoms can be treated and virus is not killed. It remains in the system and can trigger the symptoms. Sometimes, infected person can transfer virus without lesions.

    Following factors can trigger symptoms of genital herpes.
    1. Weak immunity
    2. Stress
    3. Surgery
    4. Menstruation
    5. Illness
