Pharmacology is the scientific study of medicines  and drugs and their effects and uses. It may be related to Psychiatry depending on the circumstances and situations.

Pharmacology is the study of medicines compounds herbs and their effects on disease and the body. Psychology and psychiatry are sciences that deal with abnormalities of the mind and emotions. They work together when dealing with psychiatric and emotional diseases and conditions. People with mental illnesses may be on many medications, which are filled by pharmacist.

It is a science. This deals with all around medicine and distribution. Psychiatry is inter-related because there are drugs for the control or treatment of the mentally ill. This science is one that requires exactness, precision, and credibility, so the psychology would also have to be a part of the pharmacists' person.  These questions will make many learn and study things we never considered.
