    There are different types of people working together in an office or any other work place. While it might not be possible to be friends with everyone at least all of them should be on cordial terms. Constant bickering and hostility would make the situation unbearable as you have to see the same people day after day for a considerable period of time. Thus it is necessary to deal with co workers effectively as to enhance the atmosphere at the workplace and also to get more satisfaction out of your job.

    There are basic things which if followed would help a great deal in restoring good relations with co-workers and maintaining them over the long run. First and foremost do not keep on blaming each other for whatever wrong that happens and try to solve it unitedly. Be clear in you communication and dealings both in professional as well as personal matters in the office. Recheck the facts and information to avoid mistakes and confusion. Handle situations with tact and presence of mind. Don't be a whiner and keep on harping about past issues. Don't indulge in mindless gossip. The office grapevines are often strong and thee are all the chances that you seemingly innocent words might get badly misconstrued. Don't take opinion differences in the office personally and last but not the least let go of your anger instead of harbouring grudges.
