The name itself gives an indication that Bradford Interchange is combination of bus terminuses. There are two railway stations in Bradford. They are Bradford Interchange train station and the Bradford Forester Square. It is under the authority of the city of Bradford and is managed by Northern Rail and Metro. There are four platforms and one bus station in use. It was opened in the year 1850 and was known as Bradford exchange.

It was rebuilt in 1973 and renamed as Bradford Interchange in 1983. The bus station was built in 1994. It was made a terminus because of the geography of Bradford the station. Trains are reversed out of the station and drivers go to the other end of the station.
