Can Any One Tell Me Why My Dog Can't Mount My Female Dog That Is In Heat Right Now?
She has been bleeding for at least 2 weeks but she stopped 2 days ago and my male dog has been trying really hard to mount her but he can't seem to get close enough to do the deed does anybody know why ?

You don't say what breeds they are, as obviously some body shapes are "incompatable". Is she taller than him? Does he have short legs?
Are they both inexperienced?
People assume this comes naturally to animals, but not always. There's a good bit of "hit or miss" goes on in the natural world.
