My Wife Is Filling Bankruptcy But We Are Selling Our Home, We Can Still Pay The Mortgage Just Not Unsecured Debt. How Long Do You Have To Wait To Sell Your Home After Filling Bankruptcy?
My wife can't work no more due to problems with my 2 year old son, she is needing to file bankruptcy but we are in the process of selling our home. How long do you have to wait to sell your home after filling bankruptcy? We still can pay the mortgage..

I suggest you wait until your wifes' bankruptcy has been signed off by a judge and she has received the release statement.
Then you can sell your home at any time after that.
If you sell it before the bankruptcy and you have cash equity from the sale, then your cash is going to be eaten up through the bankruptcy process or possibly she will not qualify for the bankruptcy.

Have you discussed this issue with a debt counseling service? I really think this is a case by case issue here, and a professional should look at your case.
