Encourage her to play a sport. A child's energy level is very high. She should be coached towards an active, healthy lifestyle. As far as 'exercise' goes, it should be normal physical activity such as playing a sport and running around, mixed with nothing more strenuous than light calisthenics at times.

250 star jumps a day
2 sessions of stretches
1 dance routine
Go on the Wii Fit or either play out

Just get into alot of sports and maybe ride a bike 20 minutes per day you should see results in about a week im 10 and i do gymnastics its a good workout!!!!

I'm 11 and i ride my bike for at least 30 minuts a day. I also play fall and spring soccer. And i swim at least 3 days a week for an hour or 2 and its a really good workout i eat healthy and try to limit myself to only 1 or 2 treats a day. And im in good shape!! Hope i helped Jacee
