How Do You Set Up A Photo Studio?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

When you want to choose a room to set up your photo studio, you have to find a room which is between 15 and 18 feet in length and a distance of at least 12 feet must be left between the background and the camera. There should be enough room for the lighting equipment as well. The width of the room should be at least half the length of the room. The shape should be simple. This ensures greater versatility.

The ceiling should be high enough to allow for soft and even lighting and high viewpoints for the camera. You have to paint the walls and ceiling of the photo studio with a washable white paint and the finish should be matte. The fireplaces, alcoves and baseboards of the photo studio should either be boxed in or taken out to streamline the shape of the room. There should also be numerous electrical outlets and a ventilator or an air-conditioner in the room.
