Hello there...Type o neg or pos is a universal type, meaning that type can give to anyone regardless of their blood type, BUT can only receive type o in return. Hope this helps.

Type 0 POS would NOT be able to give to A neg,B neg, AB neg or o neg. Though u are right to say 0 is the "universal donor" , u are wrong to say that 0 POS is universal. Because pos cannot be put into NEG. We are talking 2 distinct groups here. The AB O system and also the rhesus system!! That is why a rh neg mother carrying a rh pos child can cause problems especially with 2nd and subsequent pregnancies.
