The Magic Kingdom of Landover is a series of five books written by the American high fantasy author Terry Brooks. Three of the books in the series were written between the year 1986 and the year 1988, and the last two books were written between the year 1994 and the year 1995.
The main character in the series is a trial lawyer named Ben Holiday, who is depressed when he loses his wife and their unborn child. He does not wish to be a part of the legal system anymore as a result of his depression and claims that it has many loopholes.
