Men say they don't like this but its a man thing and I am a man, it is always nice to receive them in front of the other guys, a nice card and out to a nice dinner to his favorite restaurant or a nice home cooked meal if that is possible. After that I don't know your relationship but your can figure it out from there.

You can make a romantic gift basket:  Nice cologne, a gift card for a massage or maybe his favorite magazine (be sure to put the actual magazine in the basket, a pair of sexy undies for him.  One of his favorite CD;s or a CD that you burned that has music you both enjoy, a framed picture of you or the two of you.  You can use the same idea but go for a more sensual theme:  Fuzzy handcuffs, silk undies for him, edible panties for you, or lotions and creams, a Barry White CD, candles, etc.

The gift basket is a wonderful idea. But if you're on a budget, you scan cook a romantic meal, watch a movie together, bath together, or massage each other. The possibilities are endless, just use your imagination.

If you do origami, you can make him an origami flower bouquet and pay a florist for a holder and delivery.

Making money roses would be tacky.  Use either origami paper or regular paper.  You can get the stems & green wrapping tape at a crafts supply store or perhaps from the same florist.  

Who knows, the florist might want to purchase additional ones now or later.

If you like to cook,make his favorite food. This will feel him special. Sit together and have a candle light dinner, made by you especially for him. Everything made by you, even the candle also. (ofcourse except the plates and the table) . Lol .Thats a new idea, but very romantic.
