    There is a wide variety of food that's low in calorie that's good for you, of course your vegetables are extremely good for you.

    Meats are good too, it's basically how you prepare them that makes the difference, for instance, if you want to grill chicken on the BBQ, you can boil the chicken for about 15-20 minutes, drain the water off, remove the skin, then baste it with BBQ sauce, which is low in calories as well.

    Trim the fat off the steaks you eat, but not all of it, because you do need some fat in your diet, same thing basically with all the meats you eat.

    Eggless pasta is good, and there are even homemade ranch dressings that you can make with buttermilk, mayonaise, lemon, vinegar, chives, basil, salt (to taste), pepper, and dill, (a little goes a long way).

    Use "Heart Smart" margerine, this is better for you than other margerines, but don't forget that butter in moderation is good for you too. Finally, walk any chance you get.

    It's not so repetitive on your knees that you develop injuries from doing it, it's very healthy for you, and you get to see a lot of the beautiful scenery and wildlife while you are walking.
