Not usually from any sort of breeder you'd want to get a pup from (breeding practices). Tails are docked very young so the only way you may be able to arrange it is to talk to the breeder and put down a deposit for a future litter since it's done no later than ten days after birth (and often not after 5 days). You may also want to discuss any repercussions of not having the tail docked in case they are prone to injuring their tail if it's left undocked. The breed parent club usually has a great deal of comprehensive breed information and lists of breeder's and the national rescues. Those are usually the folks which know the most about the breed. :-)

I breed weimaraners and from 7th april 2007 the laws changed and it is now illegal to dock them unless you have a hunting licence, i guess that depends where you are as i am in uk

Yes it is possible to get a weimaraner puppy with a full tail! I have a 7 mth old with a full tail and due claws. I got him from Sylvia Sizer, if you look her up on internet you can find her easily! Hope this helps! Elise

It never hurts to ask a breeder or search a rescue for this breed with a tail. You might find a mixed breed Weim., such as a Silver Labrador Retriever(WeimXLab.Ret.).A Silver Lab. Will have a tail,looks a lot like a weim.Some breeders are not docking or cropping puppies.You could probably request before the puppies are born, a puppy not be cropped,put a deposit down,.Normally the tails are cropped at 2-3 days of age.
