Cone is a three dimensional shape which has a round base and all the points on the circumference of the base join with a fix point lies outside the base plane and forms a surface. This point is called vertex of the cone. The vertex of the cone is also known as apex. The axis of rotation of a cone passes through the center of the base and vertex. The volume of the cone is calculated by formula;
V= 1/3 base* height
For a right circular cone volume is;
V= 1/3 pi*r2*h
The surface area of a cone is equal to sum of area of base and area of curved side.
A= pi*r2 + 2r(r2+h2)1/2
V= 1/3 base* height

V= 1/3 pi*r2*h
