Foreign exchange market can be classified into three types including Spot market, Forward market and derivatives market(it includes currency features and options). Spot market is the commodities or securities market where the goods are sold on cash for example Spot Forex. Forward market is the over-the-counter financial market in contracts for future delivery and derivatives market is the exchange traded derivatives market and over the counter derivatives market.
