How Can I Get My Name Enrolled In The Electoral Register Of My Area?

Answer Question

The electoral register refers to a list which contains the names and addresses of all the registered voters in that area. This list is updated every year at a specific time including the name and information about the new voters of the area. You would get a right to vote only if you enroll yourself in the electoral register. There is a form to be filled which needs to be filled before your name is included in the register of electoral.

The age for registration differs from place to place but in UK and most of the European countries you can get your name enrolled if you are over 16 years of age though you can vote only after you finish 18 years. You can get the application form from the Electoral Registration Officer of your area.
