My 9 month old Catahoula has an infected front pad and a swollen throat. Will you tell me what antibiotic will help him, and how much?

Antibiotics are considered very dangerous for animals especially pets. The basic function of Antibiotics is that they kill bacteria in an animal's body. Now around 80% of the bacteria in dogs is good bacteria and use of antibiotics can destroy them, and once their use is stopped, the bad bacteria can grow back faster. So i suggest not to use antibiotics. Instead contact a vet and take his advise or try the following herbal and natural remedies:
