The movie Munich (2005) is a critically-acclaimed film directed by Hollywood legend Steven Spielberg. It was released on December 23 last year and distributed by Universal Pictures and DreamWorks SKG Pictures (in which Spielberg himself is one of the co-founders, in partnership with Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen). The film was nominated in five categories–best picture, best director, best screenplay, best editing and best original score–at the 78th Oscar awards ceremony held earlier this year, but it did not win a single Academy award.
