What Can One Do To Spend Time In Pisa?

The city of Pisa located in the province of Tuscany in the north-west of Italy is a tourist city and its attractions primarily include its architectural masterpieces. The best thing to do in Pisa is to visit every one of these.

They include the leaning tower of Pisa, perhaps one of the Worlds best recognised buildings. The tower is part of the complex that includes Duomo or Cathedral, Bapistry and the monumental cemetery of Camposanto. This entire complex is called the Campo dei Miracoli or in English the Field of Miracles.

Other sites include the Piazza dei Cavalieri square, the church of Santo Stefano dei Cavalieri, the church of St. Sixtus, the church of St. Francis, the church of St. Nicola, the church of Santa Maria della Spina, San Paolo a Ripa d'Arno, the Medici Palace, the museo dell'Opera del Duomo, Museo delle Sinopie and Museo Nazionale di S. Matteo to name a few.
