I'll create some links for you here, and they are free trials. (60 min.) Try www.shockwave.com, or www.yahoogames.com . Hope I helped!

There are quite a few websites which offer downloads of various games, however most of them do tend to be demos and if you like them you have to buy them. A good site tends to be Big Fish Games, which offers plenty of downloads on puzzle games, action and adventure games, word games and board games. You usually get 60 minutes free and then you either have to buy the game or delete it from you computer.

They do offer packages where you get the games at a reduced rate. For example, usually games are $19.99 but if you join one of the packages, say the 3 month one, you get them at a reduced rate of just $9.99 per game instead. The only catch is, you will have to buy at least 3 per month. It doesn't matter if you live in the UK or America as you can pay through you credit/debit card and it automatically takes the money out of your bank. UK customers will find that the games are £5.99 or thereabouts.
