How Is A Karate Belt Worn?

Answer Question

A karate belt is  normally worn around the waist. It is mostly worn over the karate attire. One can start tying the karate belt by clutching the end having the "K" logo of the belt in such a manner that it is a couple of inches more in length than actual length you desire to tie the belt.  Subsequently wrap the belt's other end around the waist. Continue the same way around your waist once more, all the while maintaining the location of the "K" logo.

Slip the end of the belt beneath both the layers and straight up and then towards the downside which will result in the tightening of the knot. Slip the belt's "K" logo end under the other end. Now the belt's "K" logo end has to be looped around the other end of the belt and via the knot. Now, pull the knot so that it is tightened. If both ends are more or less of equal length, then it will indicate that the belt has been tied properly.

One can see that there are a couple of methods to tie a belt. Judo and a unique way different than karate. One in which there is no noticeable X crossing in the back. Most are tied with a square knot.
