If The Company You Work For Want You To Wear A Uniform Can They Make You Pay For It?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

i work for a company in which I have to wear a uniform. Although I don't have to pay for my uniform, if, when i leave, I don't return all the issued items then I lose my last weeks pay, so for all intents and purposes I guess in a roundabout way I could end up having to pay for my uniform. The only item i am expected to purchase is my shoes, although depending on the job some companies will provide safety footwear, and safety glasses also.
