They like many things but if you are asking how to make them think you are keen on them the most important thing is to be attentive. Show that you are listening when they talk to you. When they express an opinion that you agree with in public, support it. If they crack a joke laugh, or at least playfully tell them how awful it is.

First of all I think you need to be clear about what you are wanting from this person. Although you say you want to be 'his true friend' but you seem to be attracted to this person. Friendship is a great thing, but there is a difference between that and a relationship which i think you are looking for.

Guys are all different. They like different women, different hobbies, foods...everything. Each and every one of us is unique.

I would suggest that getting someone to pay attention to you is not the best way to strike up a friendship or a relationship. If you do, you may appear to needy and clingy and scare them off. A lot of men like independent woman, who are confident in themselves. That is a very attractive quality.

If you want someone to notice you then find out what you have in common. Asks some friends - ask him! See if there is something you could do together and get to know each other.

Finally, don't get hung up on one person. The chances are if the attention isn't returned, then he'dsjust not interested. Find someone who is and they will give you the attention and affection you deserve!
