It depends on age,my sister took about 4 wks for healing to really be felt and than it is still take it easy time like with any surgery and you may always feel something because there could be scar tissue that really takes more time to heal,but don't rush trying to do too much,like vaccum,making beds,scrubbing the bath room go slow with these task,even when you feel you are able you may see the outside healing but as I said you have to heal internally also good luck to you....
