How Many Miles Is It From Washington, DC, To Liberia Costa Rica?

Liberia is the capital of a district in Costa Rica, so I'm not sure if you want the district or the city.  Since the city is pretty centrally located in the district, I assume the city will do.

Google Earth says that the straightline distance from DC to Liberia, Costa Rica is about 2012 miles (3239 km) along the Earth's surface.  To fly from DC to Costa Rica I imagine you'd have to via the country's capital, San Jose.
