Lytham St Annes is a town situated on the Fylde coast in Lancashire, with Fyldes most famous town being the world renowned holiday resort, Blackpool.
Separated by only a mile or so of coast road, Lytham St Annes is most famous for it's golf courses and is home to the British open championship course at Royal Lytham, however getting a round on the world famous course can be quite a challenge!
In addition to Royal Lytham, the town is also home to the old championship links course, and in near by Lytham, a further two courses can be found.
Lytham St Annes also houses a cinema and swimming pool complex and these can be found a short distance away from the town centre.
Like Blackpool, its near neighbour, St Annes is also full of hotels, guest houses and Bed and Breakfasts, but unlike Blackpool, the resort of St Annes, is generally quite a bit quieter.
