Add as a friend is viewed on all profiles, to the right of their username. You may click it, to send a friendship request to that user. Friendship Request- is what you will see above your avatar while on any blurtit page other than your own. Clicking on it will direct you to your account page, where you view the user's avatar. You will receive a Friendship Request in e-mail also. Most users peruse user profiles, questions, answers and comments, to get a "feel" for that user before requesting friendship.
