    4x + Y =4  ---eq -1
    2x + 8y = 0 --- eq-2

    Multiply eq- 2 by 2 you will get

    4x + 16y = 0  ---eq-3

    Subtract eq-1 from eq-3 you will get

    4x + 16y = 0
    -4x - Y = - 4

    0 + 15y = -4

    y = -4/15

    Put the value of y in eq 2 you will get
    2x + 8(-4/15) = 0

    2x -32/15 =0
    2x = 32/15
    x = 32/(15)(2)

    x = 16/15

    (x,y) = (16/15, -4/15)
