JC. You have just shown you to everyone in the blurt it community. If the children are emancipated, then you are no longer supporting them. I hope the emancipated children get their money long before you see a red cent. Further more, since the children are emancipated, are you paying any part in their financial support. Oh wait, they are 18, why are they even emancipated? I am sorry Ronda. In the world today 8k is a small amount of cash. Most likely you will get it (SADLY). Obviously, you have not done well for yourself or you would not be so concerned about it. I got married to a woman who was supposed to collect support for her son. The man was 17,000 behind when we separated, and now she is back with him? Should I sue her and him for the 50% of his support I should have gotten for the 8 years I supported his child. Instead, now he is with my children and I am paying him 500 a month to raise his own child.

If child support has been garnishing his tax returns.  I would think so.  I am sorry that you have to go through this.  It sucks.  I would call child support and see what they say about it.  Usually, that can alert the IRS and then it will go to you.  Good luck.
