Can I Pit The Contents Of A Vacuum Cleaner In A Compost Bin?
Can the contents of a vacuum cleaner be put in a compost bin?
1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating
Emptying the contents of a vacuum cleaner into a compost pile is not recommended. It consists mostly of dirt, dust and lint which will contaminate the natural organics of the compost heap. Vacuum contents should be disposed of properly in a well sealed garbage bag or container for optimum results.
