Can I Use An Oil Based Primer And Then Latex Pa?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

When using an oil based primer, you need to use an oil based paint.
As you know, oil and water do not mix. It's the same with paint.
Check to see if the paint is water based. If it is and you apply it over an oil base, it will not stick to the oil base. It will bubble up and peel off.
