Are People Getting More Short Tempered?

As I've moved from job to job and from place to place it seems over the years people have acquired shorter fuses for situations. Maybe I notice it more simply because I'm older? Is it possibly drug related? Family related? Faith related? Pride related? Especially in the news it seems there are acts of violence over very stupid issues....hence another new phrase "road rage". Was it better 'back in the ole days?

I think it was better back in the old days as the people had more respect for each other then. Today everyone is in a hurry and only out for themselves. I would think that life styles have changed, drugs, and people just being rude is part of the cause. Everyone is in a hurry and they have no place to go.

I would def agree with you, i think people are alot more impatient and people do not appreciate things as much as they use to. Alot of it can be associated with drugs and also just they way they have been brought up. Its like no one has got time for anythings its always rush, rush, rush, when there really is no need to be.
