The 3 day diet is a plan where the calorie intake is limited over the period of three days. This consists of mixing certain types of food together which create a certain chemical reaction in your body that accelerates the metabolism in the body. This results in burning fat at a higher rate than normal. After completing the 3 day diet you should go back to eating a healthy normal diet for at least 4-5 days and you must avoid over eating.
To achieve the desired results which are claimed from this form of diet one needs to follow the specific portions exactly by the book. This diet claims a loss of 10 lbs in 3 days.
The 3 day diet plan:
Have minimum 4 glasses of water everyday.
If you prefer you can add any of the listed spices or condiments in your food for extra flavour:
Salt, pepper, lemon, vinegar, herbs, mustard & ketchup, soy sauce and Worcestershire
Day 1 -
Breakfast should consist of a cup of black coffee or tea with no sugar or 1-2 packets of Sweet & Low or Equal, half grapefruit or it's juice and a slice of toast with a Tbsp of peanut butter.
For lunch, you can have 1/2 a cup of tuna with a slice of toast, and a cup of black coffee or tea with no sugar or 1-2 packets of Sweet & Low or Equal.
Dinner should consist of 3oz of any lean meat or chicken, 1 cup each of carrots, green beans, vanilla ice cream and 1 apple.
Day 2 -
Breakfast should consist of a cup of black coffee or tea with no sugar or 1-2 packets of Sweet & Low or Equal, half a banana, 1 egg and a toast.
For lunch, have 1 cup of tuna or cottage cheese and 8 regular saltine crackers.
Dinner should consist of 2 beef franks, half a cup each of carrots, bananas, regular vanilla ice cream and 1 cup of either broccoli or cabbage.
Day 3 -
For breakfast have a cup of black coffee or tea with no sugar or 1-2 packets of Sweet & Low or Equal, 1 apple, 1 oz. cheddar cheese and 5 regular saltine crackers.
Lunch should consist of black tea or coffee with no sugar or 1-2 packets of Sweet & Low or Equal, 1 toast and a boiled egg.
For dinner have 1 cup each of cauliflower, carrots, tuna and melon with /2 cup regular vanilla ice cream.
