What Does Prologue Mean?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

A prologue is defined as a preferred piece of writing. It was originated from Greek and is of wider significance as it can embrace any kind of preface.

In books, a prologue is a part of front matter which is the voice of a character in that book rather than the voice of the author.

Prologues have been used in non dramatic fictions for many years, since at least the time of Chaucer's Tales.
