Pending on the breed and diet it could be an occurrence of to rapid change in diet or from digesting something they shouldn't have

At some point your dog might get diarrhea and these often last for a couple of days. It is often accompanied by farting or emitting foul smelling gas. However if your dog continue having one for a long period of time, then it is about time to bring him/her to your vet.
