Where Is Pearl Harbour?

The attack by the japanese on Pearl Harbour, Hawaii it took place on December 7th 1941.. The attack was called a "day of infamy"!!

Pearl Harbor is located in the State of Hawaii. Specifically on the Island of Oahu. At that time, Dec. 7, 1941, Hawaii was a territory of the Ubited States. The phrase "Day of Infamy", comes from a speech President Franklin D. Roosevet made to the American people telling them of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Prior to this attack, the climate in the U.S. Was this is not our war and the people did not want to get involved. Perhaps the attack on Pearl Harbor was the biggest blunder the Japaneses made. After this attack, the following day President Roosevelt asked congress for a "Declaration of War". Now the people of the U.S. Were ready to go to war.

Pearl Harbor is a harbor on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. It is located west of Honolulu. Most of it and surrounding lands is the United States deep water naval base. It is the headquarter of US Pacific fleet as well.

Japan attacked on Pearl Harbor on December 1941 which brought United States into World War II.
