How Would A Bias Be Defined?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Bias would mean some kind of unfairness in a general or precise sense, usually in the sense for having a favourite to one finicky point of view or ideological outlook. A person would be considered to be bias if his judgment  is done based on the influence of the biases one holds, where the matter is taken as neutral or objective, instead of being completely subjective.

A systematic bias is a result of a fault essential to the system within which the bias arises. As a result, systematic bias usually leads to systematic errors, as disparate to haphazard errors, which usually opts to cancel one another out. In practice, an accusation of bias is often due to unacknowledged favouritisms on the division of a critic or judge, or in that case any person in a place requiring the cautious and unbiased exercise of adjudication or assessment.
