What Are The Various Graphics Devices?

The various graphics devices include input devices which are further classified into vector and matrix devices. Vector devices include mouse, trackball, joystick, absolute coordinates such as tablet, touch screen, data glove etc. Matrix devices include Frame grabber, scanners, range devices.

Processing graphics devices include vector devices such as SISD, FPU, MISD, SGI (Geometry Engine). Matrix devices include SIMD, Pixar, MIMD, pixel machine.

Output graphics devices include plotter, vector displays, 3D laser whereas matrix devices include Graphics printers, film recorders, raster displays etc.
